CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- No. 3 Harvard men's heavyweight rowing lost a top-four match-up to No. 4 Princeton in the Compton Cup on Saturday morning. The varsity eight was won by the visiting Tigers in 5:29.995. HUBC was nearly a boat-length back in the final 200m and made a late push, but ran out of river, before falling by just three seats in 5:31.294.

Harvard was able to claim wins in the third and second varsity eights. After Princeton took the fourth varsity to open the day, HUBC picked up back-to-back wins of nearly four seconds in the 3V and 2V.
Marco Vicino stroked the third varsity to a win in a time of 5:34.823. A race later,
Tyler Horler stroked the second varsity to a 5:32.876 finish.
Princeton has won three of the last four Compton Cups, but Harvard retains a 72-25 advantage in the all-time series.
