CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Sailing is scheduled to compete at three different regattas this weekend, with two slated for the Greater Boston area. The Crimson will appear at the Legler Trophy/NEISA Women's Team Racing Championship in nearby Medford, the Central Series 4 Fleet Race on the Charles River, and the Thompson Trophy Team Race in New London, Connecticut. The Legler and Thompson Trophies are slated for April 11-12, and the Central Series 4 will take place on April 11.

Legler Trophy/NEISA Women's Team Racing Championship | Medford, Mass.
The sun will be shining on Saturday, with the temp holding steady at 57 degrees and the wind coming out of the north-northwest at 10 knots. Sunday will be a touch cooler and sunglasses will come in handy for those on Upper Mystic Lake. The wind, meanwhile, will be between 4-8 knots (NNW, NNE, SSE, SE).
Thompson Trophy Team Race | New London, Conn.
Saturday will feature sunny skies, temps rising into the upper 50s and wind out of the north-northwest between 8-9 knots. Sunday will be sunny as well, with the temps struggling to get past 50 degrees. The wind will shift throughout the day (NE, SE, SSE, S) at a velocity between 3-8 knots.

- This weekend's action will feature the final team race regattas until the national championships at the end of the month.
- Harvard has secured a spot at the ICSA Open Team Racing National Championship as a result of last week's victory at the NEISA Open Team Racing Championship in Cranston, Rhode Island. The Crimson posted a 20-1 record to cruise to the win and collect the league's automatic bid to nationals. The victory was the program's sixth in a row at an open regatta.
- On Wednesday, the Harvard group at NEISAs was named the conference open sailors of the week. That group included Justin Callahan, Mitchell Callahan, Christina Chen, Rosella Irfan, Robby Meek, Aidan Pesce, Jacob Posner and Xavier Ayala-Vermont.
- A day before Harvard won the NEISA event, the Crimson captured the Yale Women's Team Race with a 6-2 record in Connecticut. Harvard's sweep of the weekend gave it eight spring victories in seven weekends. The eight regular-season wins are the most in the program's recorded history, dating back to the 2008-09 season. The previous record was five spring triumphs in 2024.
- The Crimson will look to win its first NEISA Women's Team Racing Championship since 2005, when it won its second straight title. Since returning from the pandemic in the fall of 2021, Harvard has finished in sixth (2022), second (2023), fifth (2024) and fifth (2025) the last four years.
- Harvard returns to the Thompson Trophy as the defending champion, following an 18-3 record, which included a perfect 10-0 Sunday. Prior to last year's regatta, the Crimson was the event's runner-up at 17-4, finishing behind Stanford and its 20-1 performance.
- The Crimson makes its first Central Series 4 Fleet Race appearance since 2022 on Saturday. Harvard finished in 11th place that season, earning 131 points, at a regatta hosted by Tufts. This season's regatta will be hosted by Bentley, but will be run out of Harvard's boathouse on the Charles River.
