What to Know

  • Harvard comes into the women's championship as an at-large selection and the field's No. 4 seed. At the NEISA Fleet Racing Championship in April, the Crimson finished in third place.
  • On the open side, Harvard enters the national regatta as the No. 1 overall seed. The Crimson won its fourth straight NEISA Fleet Racing Championship in April to secure one of the league's two automatic bids and helping make its case for the top spot on the national seed board.
  • The Harvard women's program finished in third place at Fleet Race Nationals in 2025 and will be in search of its first national crown since 2005 and sixth overall. The coed team, meanwhile, will be vying for its second championship in the last three years and seventh overall. Last season, the Crimson fell victim to a weather-shortened championship and came in fifth place.
  • The ICSA Fleet Racing National Championship will mark the program's first action since Team Race Nationals in late April. The Crimson open squad won its second straight national title and third in four seasons, while the women posted its third consecutive top-5 finish, ending in fourth place.
  • Harvard will look to sweep all three coed team national championships, having already claimed the ICSA Match Race and Team Race National Championships in November and April, respectively. The ICSA Match Race event was also held in St. Petersburg. The Crimson also captured the ICSA Open Singlehanded National Championship in Norfolk, Virginia, when Robby Meek emerged victorious.
  • Harvard's open squad is looking to close an unprecedented campaign on a winning note. The Crimson has won eight regattas in nine spring weekends, with the outlier being a second-place finish that saw it tie for the best record in the field (Thompson Trophy).
  • The Crimson women's team also enjoyed an impressive run this spring, posting eight top-5 finishes in nine weekends. Among those eight were victories at the Charleston Women's Team Race and Yale Women's Team Race. Harvard finished among the top-6 during all nine spring weekends.
  • Since the completion of the ICSA Team Racing National Championship, Harvard has collected several individual accolades. Justin Callahan was named NEISA Open Skipper of the Year for the second straight season to become the program's first back-to-back winner, while Jacob Posner was the NEISA Open Rookie of the Year. Mitchell Callahan took home the team's third major award, earning the NEISA Senior Trophy. All three were first-team All-NEISA selections, with both Callahans and Meek garnering open skipper recognition. Posner and Rosella Irfan were open crew picks, with Christina Chen landing on the second team as crew.
  • Zoey Ziskind led the Harvard women's honorees as an All-NEISA Women's Skipper First-Team choice, while Kate Danielson and Sophia Montgomery were chosen as second-team skippers. Chen, JJ Drummond and Amelie Zucker, meanwhile, were recognized as All-NEISA Women's Crew Second-Team performers.
  • The Ivy League also revealed its all-conference picks, with Chen and Danielson being voted to the second team as crew and skipper, respectively. Montgomery earned a spot on the Ivy League All-Academic Team.
