CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Harvard Men's Lacrosse added another footnote in its long-standing tradition of academic excellence this afternoon, as all 11 of its senior class members earned spots on the New England Lacrosse Association's (NEILA) 2026 All-Academic Team.
For the second consecutive season, the Crimson led Division I with 11 honorees on the team, as the group continues to showcase its pursuit of academic excellence. Harvard accounted for 11 of the 60 overall student-athletes on the All-Academic Team.
To earn the honor, student-athletes must be a senior or graduate student standing with no eligibility remaining or plans to use their eligibility in New England, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale and be an impact player for their team.
These honors for the Crimson seniors finish off their highly successful run in their four years in Cambridge. One of the most successful classes in the history of Harvard men's lacrosse, the Class of 2026 helped guide Harvard to four USILA Team GPA Awards, over 30 wins, an NCAA Tournament appearance and back-to-back Ivy League Tournament appearances in 2025 and 2026.
The group graduated this past Spring as one of the best academic programs on campus and in the country and will now move on to begin their professional careers in a variety of fields this Summer. Be on the lookout for more about the Class of 2026 and what is in store next.
