LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- Harvard women's ice hockey sophomore defender
Emi Biotti (Cambridge, Mass.) was selected by USA Hockey for the Collegiate Select Team over the weekend that will compete against Canada in a three-game series this coming week. Biotti made the team through a week of training and competing at the USA Hockey National Festival at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid from August 2-9. USA's women's select team takes on Canada in British Columbia between August 12-15.
Biotti previously played for USA Hockey and won gold at the 2025 IIHF U18 World Championship in Finland. She appeared in all 34 games as a first-year in 2025-26 and totaled 10 points on four goals and six assists to go with 66 blocked shots. She was joined at the National Festival by Harvard teammate and goaltender

The USA-Canada series will be played August 12, 13 and 15 at the Richmond Olympic Oval in Richmond, B.C. USA Hockey's gold-medal leading head coach from Milano-Cortina in 2026 John Wroblewski will leads the Collegiate Select Team from behind the bench.
