LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- Harvard women's ice hockey sophomore defender Emi Biotti (Cambridge, Mass.) was selected by USA Hockey for the Collegiate Select Team over the weekend that will compete against Canada in a three-game series this coming week. Biotti made the team through a week of training and competing at the USA Hockey National Festival at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid from August 2-9. USA's women's select team takes on Canada in British Columbia between August 12-15.

Biotti previously played for USA Hockey and won gold at the 2025 IIHF U18 World Championship in Finland. She appeared in all 34 games as a first-year in 2025-26 and totaled 10 points on four goals and six assists to go with 66 blocked shots. She was joined at the National Festival by Harvard teammate and goaltender Ainsley Tuffy (Duxbury, Mass.).

The USA-Canada series will be played August 12, 13 and 15 at the Richmond Olympic Oval in Richmond, B.C. USA Hockey's gold-medal leading head coach from Milano-Cortina in 2026 John Wroblewski will leads the Collegiate Select Team from behind the bench.
