CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The No. 17 Harvard men's water polo team hits the road for the first of two West Coast swings this weekend as it competes in the Aggie Roundup hosted by UC Davis. The Crimson play two on Saturday beginning with No. 4 California at 11 a.m. ET followed by a 2:30 p.m. game against No. 10 San Jose State.

The weekend wraps up against the host and No. 6 Aggies Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET. Harvard's weekend finale will be streamed on ESPN+.

About the Crimson
Harvard is 2-2 after opening the season in the Bruno Classic at Blodgett Pool. The Crimson earned a split each day last weekend with wins over Air Force and Wagner. Senior Jack Burghardt, who scored 98 goals as the NWPC MVP a year ago, tallied a team-high 14 goals on the weekend, including five against No. 13 Cal Baptist in game one. First-year Clay Carrington debuted with 11 goals over the weekend and earned NWPC Rookie of the Week honors. In net, first-year Jonas Ransford and senior Oliver Price split time with two starts each. Ransford totaled a team-high 28 saves and came of the bench in a one-goal win over Air Force. Price capped the weekend with a nine-save performance in a win over Wagner.

Homecoming Weekend
The Crimson's 16-player roster features 12 student-athletes from California. Burghardt (Manhattan Beach), Price (La Jolla, Calif.) and classmates Bradford Dickson (Imperial Beach) and Jacob Tsotadze (Menlo Park) will be making the first of two trips back home to the Golden State in their final season with Harvard. All four Crimson first-years; Carrington (Menlo Park), Ransford (Newport Beach), Geoff Slutzky (Newport Beach) and Rigby Snapp (Ventura) are all making their first trips home in a Harvard cap.
