Student Registration for Harvard-Cornell Men's
Basketball and Hockey Tickets
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--On Thursday, Harvard students
can register to receive a free ticket to the event of their choice
on one of the most highly anticipated Harvard Athletics home nights
in recent memory as the Crimson men's basketball teams and men's
hockey teams take on the Cornell Big Red Friday, Feb. 19.
The men's basketball game pits the 15-5 Crimson, led by
Cousy Award candidate Jeremy Lin, against the nationally
ranked Big Red. While that game is taking place at Lavietes
Pavilion, the schools' men's hockey teams will clash a few yards
away at Bright Hockey Center in the 132nd installment in one
of college hockey's top rivalries. The opening tip and facoff are
both set for 7 p.m.
Both games are projected to sell out, so undergraduate
students must register in advance for
thier free ticket. There are 400 student
tickets available for basketball and 300 for hockey. Tickets
will be available on a first-come, first-served
basis, so register early.
HOW TO REGISTER
On Thursday, Feb. 11, starting at 3 p.m., click here to register using your Harvard
University ID. You will only be able to register for one
game (basketball or hockey).
HOW TO PICK UP TICKETS
Once successfully registered at the link above, please pick up your
ticket at the Harvard Athletic Ticket Office (Murr Center, 65 North Harvard Street,
Boston; located adjacent to the north end zone of Harvard
Stadium) any time between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Tuesday,
Feb. 16, to Thursday, Feb. 18. All tickets
must be claimed by Thursday, Feb. 18 at 5
p.m. All unclaimed tickets will be relased for sale.
HOW TO GET IN ON GAMEDAY
Students must bring their ticket
and HUID to gain entrance to their game
of choice Friday, Feb. 19.
