The Game:
Harvard returns home after more than three weeks to host Providence in a non-conference matchup at the Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium. The game will be held Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.

The Crimson is looking to snap a five-game winless streak, while the Friars have won three of their last four contests. Harvard won its only home game this season, defeating  then-No. 13 Stanford, 2-1, in the first night game at the Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium.

Last Time Out:
Harvard dropped a road game to local rival Boston University, 2-1, Sept. 26.  Kyle Henderson tallied the lone Criimson goal, scoring on a free kick in the 43rd minute.  Austin Harms made two saves in net.  

The Matchup:
The Crimson and Friars have played 12 times since 1995. Harvard owns a 10-2-0 lead in the series and has won the last seven meetings between the two New England schools. Last year on Oct. 20, Andre Akpan '10 converted a penalty kick with only 14 seconds remaining to lift the Crimson to a 2-1 victory at Providence. Desmond Mitchell '10 also knotted a goal, while Harms turned aside two shots.

About Harvard:
The Crimson heads into the week with a 2-2-3 overall record after tying Stony Brook, 1-1, and falling at BU, 2-1, last weekend.

Brian Rogers, who helped Harvard earn a 1-1 tie at Stony Brook by scoring with only 38 seconds left, is the Crimson's leading scorer with three goals and six points.  Kyle Henderson stands second with four points and paces the squad with two assists.  

Austin Harms boasts a 2-2-2 record with one shutout this season. He also sports a 1.24 goals-against average to go along with 21 saves and a .724 save percentage.

Opponents are outscoring the Crimson, 9-8, and are outshooting Harvard, 97-73.  Harvard has earned 14 corner kicks, while opponents have 33 on the season.

About Providence:
The Friars, who fell to Louisville, 2-1, Sept. 25, had previously won three straight games against Sacred Heart, 3-0, Quinnipiac, 1-0, and Northeastern, 1-0.

Providence (4-2-1) has three players who have scored multiple goals this season, led by Wilder Arboleda (3-1-7).  Matt Marcin (2-1-5) and Greg Davis (2-0-4) have netted two goals each, while Marc Cintron (1-2-4) and Daniel Fabian (0-2-2) lead the team in assists.

Jhojan Obando has started all seven games and has three clean sheets to his credit.  He is 4-2-1 with a 1.13 goals-against mark, 27 saves and a .771 save percentage.

Late-Game Heroics:
Brian Rogers has scored two cruical goals in late-game situations this season. He tallied the game-winner against Stanford in the 80th minute and knotted the game in the 90th minute at Stony Brook.

Going For The Record:
With 14 shutouts in his career, Austin Harms needs five more clean sheets to tie Ryan Johnson '06 for the program's all-time record (19).  Harms has one shutout this season, after having seven in 2009 and six as a freshman in 2008.

Up Next:
The Crimson opens its Ivy League schedule by hosting Yale at Ohiri Field Saturday, Oct. 2. The game is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. Harvard will then visit Holy Cross Wednesday, Oct. 6.
