Katharine Chute is one of three finalists for the ECAC
Student-Athlete of the Year Award (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Katharine Chute of the
Harvard women's hockey team has been named one of three
finalists for the ECAC Student-Athlete of the Year award, the
league announced Thursday. Chute joins Clarkson's Katelyn
Ptolemy and Yale's Jackee Snikeris as finalists for the
award.
A senior forward for the Crimson, Chute is an organismic and
evolutionary biology concentrator at Harvard. The Wayzata, Minn.
native has been selected to the ECAC All-Academic team three times
and is the active leader in games played with 128 in her career.
This season, she ranks fifth on the team in scoring with eight
goals and 10 assists for 18 points and also has a power-play and a
game-winning goal to her credit.
