(Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Pieter Lehrer, The Virginia B.
and James O. Welch Jr. '52 Head Coach for Harvard Men's
Soccer, announced the addition of six freshmen to the men's
soccer roster for the 2013-14 season. The freshman class boasts
players from five different states, including Connecticut, New
Jersey, New York, Washington and two from Massachusetts.
Lehrer welcomes the group of six student-athletes as he embarks
on his first season as head coach of the program. The freshmen will
be called upon to make an impact on the 2013-14 squad, as they join
a team that posted a 3-11-3 record in 2012. Last year's
freshman class accounted for two of the team's top three
scorers on the season.
