PRINCETON, N.J. - No. 5 Harvard men's squash (2-2, 2-0) ended a two-match skid with a 7-2 road victory over No. 9 Princeton Saturday afternoon at Jadwin Gymnasium.
Harvard fought hard, but lost at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, facing off against two All-Americans. Madhav Dhingra took one game but fell 3-1 at the No. 1 position to Samuel Kang, while Dylan Murray was swept 3-0 at the No. 2 position by Tyler Osborne.
Harvard dominated the rest of the proceedings with wins in the seven remaining matches, four of which were 3-0 sweeps.
At the No. 5 position, freshman David Ryan made a splash in his season debut, taking down Princeton's Taylor Tutrone, 3-0.
Senior captain Tyler Olson stayed undefeated with his fourth victory this season, registering a 3-1 win at the No. 8 position.
Freshman Mandela Patrick started the season 0-2 but was able to pick up his first collegiate win, defeating the Tigers' Ben Leizman, 3-1, at the No. 9 position.
Harvard now travels south for a match against No. 11 Penn, January 10 at 2 p.m.
