CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's tennis team will travel to Dedham, Massachusetts on Saturday, Jan. 31 to take on Boston College. The contest will be held at Dedham Health and Fitness Club, with doubles play beginning at 4 p.m.
Last Time Out
On day two of the ITA Kickoff Weekend at Vanderbilt, Harvard defeated No. 45 DePaul, 4-2. The Crimson, improved to 2-1 with the victory.
June Lee came out on top in the first singles position, earning a 6-4, 6-7 (3), 7-5 triumph over the Blue Demons' Patricia Lacranjan. The win was her 13th of the season. Freshmen Nikki Kallenberg and Annika Ringblom each secured three-set wins as well. Kallenberg's win came from the second position, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, and Ringblom's from the fourth, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Harvard earned the doubles point with successful outcomes in the first and third positions. The duo of Lee and Monica Lin produced a win, 7-6(5), from the top slot while Kallenberg and Ringblom joined for a 6-3 victory to secure the point.

Playing in five tournaments during the fall, Harvard earned plenty of hardware. The Crimson won two of three flights at the Cissie Leary Invitational, all-four singles groups at the Billie Jean King Invite, and every division at the Harvard Invitational.
Overall in 2014-15, sophomore June Lee and freshman Ellen Jang-Milsten lead the team with 13 singles victories, with freshman Nikki Kallenberg close behind with 11. All of Harvard's student-athletes sport a record above .500. In doubles play, Monica Lin has combined with teammates for 15 wins, with Annika Ringblom in second with 12.
The Crimson student-athletes have combined for a 118-48 (.711) overall record, including an 81-32 mark in singles play and 37-16 record in doubles.

Scouting Boston College
The Eagles are ranked No. 60 by the ITA after starting the season 1-2. BC toppled Minnesota at the ITA Kick Off Weekend in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, but also fell to LSU at the event. Jessica Wacnik is ranked No. 61 in the country and Lexi Borr checks in at No. 103 to lead BC. The Eagles are a combined 52-56 in singles play and an even 27-27 in doubles.
A Breath of Fresh Air
Harvard's three freshmen have adjusted well to collegiate tennis, combining for a 29-10 record in singles play and 24-11 when paired with a teammate. Nikki Kallenberg won the A-division at the Billie Jean King Invitational, Ellen Jang-Milsten won the A-division at the Harvard Invitational, and Annika Ringblom paired with Monica Lin to win the doubles flight at the Cissie Leary Invitational.

On the Sidelines
Traci Green is in her eighth season at the helm for the Crimson. Under her guidance, Harvard won the program's 18th Ivy League title in 2009 with a 13-8 overall record and a 6-1 conference mark. Green owns a 75-64 overall record, including a 73-47 mark over the past six-plus seasons, and 30-19 mark in the Ancient Eight.
What's Next
Harvard returns to the Murr Center on February 8 to host North Texas. The first matches will commence at 11 a.m., and can be seen on the Ivy League Digital Network.
