No. 3 Women's Squash Set to Face a Trio of Top-10 Teams

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 3 Harvard women's squash returns to action this weekend after a 19-day layoff. The Crimson faces off against Ancient Eight foe No. 6 Cornell, Saturday, Jan. 31 at noon. Harvard ends the weekend with two matches on Sunday, Feb. 1 against No. 9 Columbia at noon and No. 10 Stanford at 2 p.m.

Harvard's previously scheduled match against Colby has been changed to an exhibition. They will be played, but will not count towards the Crimson's overall record.

Last Time Out
The Crimson last played January 12, defeating then-No. 13 Franklin & Marshall, 9-0, to close out a three-match road trip.  

No. 6 Cornell
Cornell holds a 7-2 record and 2-1 mark against Ancient Eight opponents. Big Red had a strong weekend, going 2-1, including a 9-0 sweep of No. 20 St. Lawrence. The Crimson is a perfect 20-0 since the two programs started playing each other in 1996.

No. 9 Columbia
The Lions come to Cambridge with a 6-4 overall record and an 1-2 mark in the Ivy League. Columbia suffered its fourth loss last Sunday at the hands of No. 8 George Washington. Since the series began in 2012, Harvard is 3-0 all-time against the Lions.

The Crimson's match against Columbia is a Student Rewards game. All undergraduate students who check in using the CrimZone Rewards app will receive 30 points and a free giveaway item.

No. 10 Stanford
The Cardinal owns a 3-7 record this season. Stanford is currently on a five-match losing streak. The Cardinal's last victory came in an upset of No. 16 Bates. Harvard is a perfect 9-0 all-time against Stanford.
