Senior Woo tallied his third All-American accolade (Gil Talbot).
WALTHAM, Mass. – After four days of fencing action at the 2016 NCAA Tournament, hosted by Brandeis, Harvard matched last year's result with a seventh-place finish (100) with a total of four All-Americans (two men and two women).
Foil fencers Stephen Mageras and Michael Woo finished seventh and eighth, respectively. Mageras finished the two-day men's division with his first All-American accolade with a 14-9 record and a plus-18 touch differential joining the second team. Woo tallied his third All-American selection finishing with a plus-16 touch differential and a 14-9 mark joining Mageras on the second team.
In the saber division, Alexander Ryjik finished 14th with an 11-12 record and a minus-9 touch differential for his best finish in four years at the tournament.
