CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Sam Goldberg of the Harvard men's squash team has been announced among this year's recipients of the Thomas Temple Hoopes '19 Prize for outstanding senior thesis or research projects.
The Hoopes prize is an annual award presented to a number of Harvard undergraduates that have projects nominated. It is considered to be one of the highest academic commendations the University gives to undergraduates. The award—which is funded by the estate of Thomas T. Hoopes '19—comes with a prize of $4,000 for student recipients and $1,000 for their advisers.
Goldberg was recognized for his submission entitled "Sea Level Change Since Last Glacial Maximum." His nominating professor was Jerry Mitrovica.
