CAMBRDIGE, Mass. – The No. 4 Harvard men's squash team picked up its third consecutive win as it defeated No. 7 Penn, 8-1, on Saturday afternoon.
Harvard (3-0, 2-0 Ivy) has now won its first three games of the season for the first time since the 2013-14 campaign. The Crimson didn't lose a game from the No. 3-9 positions against Penn (3-4, 0-1 Ivy), and freshman Saaldeldin Abouiash rallied for an 11-8 win in the fifth game of his match at No. 1.
Senior captains Bryan Koh and Devin McLaughlin led the Crimson with sweeps at No. 7 and No. 9, respectively. Senior Dylan Murray also cruised to a 3-0 win at No. 6.
Juniors Madhav Dhingra and David Ryan rolled to 3-0 decisions at No. 3 and No. 5, and freshmen Timothy Brownell and Sean Hughes picked up clean sweeps at the No. 4 and No. 8 spots, respectively.
Harvard will return to the courts tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. against No. 11 Princeton.
