CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Harvard men's soccer team (3-8, 1-1 Ivy) dropped a 1-0 decision to Boston College (4-3-3, 2-3-0 ACC) on Tuesday night. Sophomore goalkeeper Matt Freese tied his career high with eight saves in net while seven different players recorded shot attempts.

Through the first 45, Harvard maintained consistent pressure on offense, recording five shots despite an early score from the Eagles.

In a tightly contested second half, Harvard's closest shot came in the 78th minute when Sam Brown took a free kick from far out that Rory Conway headed into the lower left corner. Minutes later Paolo Belloni-Urso fired a shot just wide, but the Crimson was unable to break through the Eagles' defense.
