CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The road to the Potter Cup will end in Cambridge this weekend as the undefeated Harvard men's squash team will attempt to win its second straight national title on its home courts. The Crimson (14-0, 7-0 Ivy) will look to capture back-to-back championships for the first time since 1995-97. The top-seeded Crimson will begin its pursuit of the Cup on Friday afternoon when it faces off with the Drexel Dragons at the Murr Center Squash Courts.
Harvard has never lost to the No. 8 Dragons, posting a 4-0 series advantage, including a 9-0 win earlier this season. The match is slated to begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28.
Four teams will represent the Ancient Eight in the Potter Cup draw. The top-ranked Crimson is joined by No. 3 Penn, No. 4 Princeton and No. 6 Yale. Trinity comes into the tournament as the second seed with Rochester and Virginia rounding out the field as the fifth and seventh seeds, respectively.

Leading the Way
Mike Way, the Gregory Lee '87 and Russell Ball '88 Endowed Coach for Harvard University and James Herscot '58 Coach of Excellence, is in his 10th season as the head coach for both men's and women's squash. Way is coming off a historic 2018-19 season in which both his teams won the Ivy League and national title. In addition, Way coached the individual national champion in each division. Victor Crouin won the Pool Trophy and Gina Kennedy earned her second Ramsay Cup a year ago.

The Crimson will get right back to work in preparation for the CSA Individual Nationals which will be held March 6-8 at Penn. Draws and seedings will be announced the week of the tournament.
