Reilly Walsh Signs NHL Contract With New Jersey Devils

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Rising senior defenseman Reilly Walsh signed a three-year entry level contract with the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League, the organization announced today (Aug. 10). Walsh was New Jersey's fourth selection (third round), 81st overall, in the 2017 NHL Draft.
 
Walsh skated in 96 games in his three-year career with the Crimson, recording 78 points (27 goals, 51 assists) as one of the top offensive defensemen in college hockey. An All-Ivy League Honorable Mention selection last year, Walsh finished the 2019-20 season with 27 points (eight goals, 19 assists) in 30 games played. He was second among all NCAA defensemen with six power play goals. A native of Andover, N.H., Walsh was a Third Team All-ECAC Hockey selection in 2018-19, notching a career best 31 points (12 goals, 19 assists), helping the Crimson reach the NCAA Tournament. He was a ECAC Hockey All-Rookie as a first-year with 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists).
