Bowlby, Drury Sign Professional Hockey Contracts

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior forward Henry Bowlby (Florida Panthers) and sophomore forward Jack Drury (Vaxjo Lakers) signed professional contracts this past week, forgoing their remaining eligibility at Harvard.
 
Bowlby signed a two-year entry level contract with the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League. A native of Edina, Minn., Bowlby was one of the Crimson's top forwards over his three-year career, notching 45 points (21 goals, 24 assists) in 84 career games. This past year, Bowlby matched a career high with 16 points (eight goals, eight assists). One of the team's top student-athletes, Bowlby was named to the ECAC Hockey Commissioner's List after having the program's top GPA for the 2019-20 academic year.
 
Drury signed a professional contract with the Vaxjo Lakers of the Swedish Hockey League after a fantastic sophomore season. The Winnetka, Ill. native was a Second Team All-ECAC Hockey and All-Ivy selection after notching 39 points in 2019-20, including a team high 20 goals on the year. Drury was No. 4 in the nation with 1.39 points per game and was a key cog in Harvard's nation-leading power play unit (31.2%), scoring 11 power play goals (No. 3, NCAA) on the year. An ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team honoree, Drury finishes his Harvard career with 63 points (29 goals, 34 assists) in 60 games played.
