CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's and women's track and field teams have announced their 2021-22 season schedule, according to
Jason Saretsky, the William W. "Bill" McCurdy Director of Track and Field/Cross Country.

The Crimson's indoor season will begin at home, with the teams competing in the Ivy vs. HBCU meet on Dec. 4 at the Gordon Indoor Track. Following that kickoff, Harvard is not set to compete again until the new year, with the home slate set to continue with the Harvard Multi & Beantown Challenge being from Jan. 7-8.Â

Heading out on the road for the first time, the Crimson will travel down to the New York City armory for a meet against TCNJ on Jan. 15. The teams will then head back home for a stretch of Boston meets, taking on the Multi-Team Meet at BU on Jan. 22nd, hosting the HYP and the Crimson Elite meets on Jan. 29 and Feb. 4 respectively, and competing in BU's Scarlet & White meet on Feb. 5. Harvard will then take a brief trip down to South Carolina for the Clemson Tiger Paw Invite from Feb. 11-12, before traveling back up to Boston for the BU-hosted IC4A/ECAC meet Mar. 5-6. Closing out their indoor season, the Crimson will travel to Fayetteville, Ark. for the NCAA Indoor Championships from Mar. 11-12.

Not allowing for any rust to accumulate, the Crimson will begin its outdoor schedule immediately, marching down to Houston, Texas for the Cougar Spring Break Invitational, Mar. 12-20. Harvard will then compete in three meets to close out March, splitting for the Raleigh Relays from Mar. 25-26 in Raleigh, N.C., the University of Miami Invitational on Mar. 26 in Miami, Fla., and the UML Riverhawk Invite also on Mar. 26 in Lowell, Mass..

Boasting a chock-full last three months of the season, the teams will start off hosting the HYOC on Apr. 9, their last home meet of the 2021-22 season. Hitting the road for the rest of the year, the Crimson are set to travel across the country. Through April, the teams will compete in: the War Eagle Meet from Apr. 15-16 in Auburn, Ala., the Michael Johnson Invitational from Apr. 22-23 in Waco, Texas, the Virginia Challenge from Apr. 22-23 in Charlottesville, Va., the Sean Collier Invitational on Apr. 23 hosted by MIT in Cambridge, Mass., and the Penn Relays from Apr. 27-30 in Philadelphia, Pa..Â

The Crimson wrap up the season with a slate that begins with the Ivy League Outdoor Championships from May 7-8 in New Haven, Conn., followed by the NCAA East Prelims from May 26-28 in Bloomington, Ind.. Harvard will then travel to University of Oregon, who is hosting the NCAA Championships for the second season in a row.Â
