Men's Water Polo

No. 11 Men’s Water Polo Nets 20 in Victory Over Iona

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 11 Harvard men's water polo took down Iona (7-17, 3-8 NWPC) 20-8 at Blodgett Pool. Sophomore Kaleb Archer netted four goals as Harvard improves to 22-4, 6-2 NWPC on the season.

Harvard fell behind early against the Gaels, trailing 4-3 after one period of play behind goals from Archer, junior Alex Tsotadze and first-year Tyler Zarcu. The Crimson defense was once again the story in the third quarter, allowing only one goal with junior goalie Nathan Wu stopping a five-meter shot. Sophomore Cam Dougherty and first-year Rishi Mohan would net two goals apiece in the final quarter, propelling the Crimson to a 20-8 victory.
