Kingston, N.Y. – Harvard hopes to continue its strong start to the 2021-22 campaign when it journeys to Wiltwyck Golf Club for the Autumn Invitational this Monday, Oct. 11. The Crimson, who has finished inside the top three in each of its first two events, will join a field of 12 teams for the one-day, 36-hole tournament.
A total of four Ivy League schools are scheduled to compete including Harvard, Columbia, Cornell and Dartmouth. Bryant, Farleigh Dickinson, Iona, Lehigh, Manhattan, St. John's, St. Peter's and St. Thomas Aquinas (N.Y.) complete the field.

What to know:
- In its two tournaments this fall, the Crimson finished tied for second at the Doc Gimmler and third at the Macdonald Cup.
- Sophomore Brian Ma has finished tied for third and tied for second individually in his two starts this season. Ma leads the team in scoring average (69.17) and total birdies (22) on the year.
- Ma has posted a final round scoring average of 67.5 (-2.5) through two events.
- Alex Zhu and Jeffrey Fang will each be making their first collegiate starts on Monday.
- Wiltwyck Golf Club will play to a par 72 at 6,877 yards.
- The Crimson is led by The Paul M. Weissman '52 Director of Harvard Golf, Fred Schernecker '89, as well as The Bobby Jones '24 Coach for Harvard Men's Golf, Kevin Rhoads. Schernecker enters his 24th season with the program while Rhoads returns for his 18th year.
