CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 14/16 Harvard men's ice hockey (4-2-1, 3-1-1 ECAC Hockey) returns to the ice to take on ECAC Hockey and Ivy rival Brown (1-4-0, 1-4-0 ECAC Hockey) on Tuesday (Nov. 23) in a 7 p.m. contest. Harvard is looking to bounce back after an 0-2-1 mark over the last three games, despite taking both No. 17 Northeastern and St. Lawrence to overtime. Harvard has just one regulation loss in its first seven games.

What to Know

Derek Mullahy's 23 saves helped the Crimson earn two points at St. Lawrence with a shootout win (1-1 regulation tie) at Appleton Arena. Senior forward
Baker Shore scored to give Harvard an early lead, but St. Lawrence answered late in the second period (15:54), as Will Arquiett's goal set up a frantic third period and overtime.
• Tuesday's game marks the 179th meeting between Harvard and Brown in men's ice hockey with Harvard owning a 117-47-14 edge in the series.
• Harvard and Brown met in a preseason scrimmage on Oct. 20, with Harvard earning an 8-2 win over the Bears in that contest. In the last regular season meeting between the two teams, the Crimson and Bears played to a 1-1 tie, with Jack Rathbone scoring Harvard's lone goal and
Mitchell Gibson making 26 saves in the contest.
• Harvard has scored first in six of seven contests this year and is outscoring teams 11-3 in the first period of games this season.
• Harvard's penalty kill is off to a solid start through seven games, allowing just five goals in 34 power play opportunities (85.3%, 16th, NCAA).
At the Helm
Following success as a player, Harvard head coach Ted Donato has compiled a long list of accomplishments as head coach of the Crimson. The former Harvard captain has guided Harvard to four ECAC Hockey titles and three Ivy League championships, claimed six NCAA Tournament berths, coached 13 All-Americans and 17 National Hockey Leaguers. Donato, who won an NCAA Championship as a Harvard player in 1989 and enjoyed a 13-year NHL career, has represented Team USA at the World Junior Championships, multiple World Championships, and was the leading scorer of the 1992 Olympic Team in Albertville, France.
