What to Know
  • When the Crimson was last on the ice, head coach Katey Stone, won the 500th game of her career as Harvard knocked-off Brown, 5-2. Stone is the first female coach and the fourth of a women's program to reach the milestone. Just 24 coaches across all NCAA men's and women's programs have hit 500 wins with a single team.
  • Stone returns to her alma mater for Tuesday's matchup to coach against the program where she was a four-year letter winner from 1986-89. This will be Stone's 40th time facing New Hampshire as a coach. She has gone 18-16-5 against the Wildcats thus far.
  • Junior forward, Anne Bloomer, has been Harvard's most potent offensive player of late, recording a goal in each of the Crimson's last five games. It is a career-long goal streak for Bloomer, who now has six goals on the season, tied with Becca Gilmore for the most on the team.
  • Harvard currently leads all of Division I with a team faceoff win percentage of .610. The Crimson has gained an edge on draws in eight of its nine games this season. Junior Kristin Della Rovere leads the team with 118 wins at the faceoff dot.
  • The Crimson owns a record of 5-0-0 this year when scoring the game's first goal, while going just 1-3-0 when the opponent gets on the board first.
  • Harvard is 6-0-0 on the seaon when leading after two periods.

At the Helm:
Katey Stone, The Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey, is in her 27th year at the helm of the women's hockey program. Prior to the 2021-22 season, Stone compiled a 494-253-54 record. During Summer 2021, Stone was named the recipient of USA Hockey's Distinguished Achievement Award, recognizing a U.S. citizen who has made hockey his or her profession, and has made outstanding contributions, on or off the ice, to the sport in America. No stranger to trailblazing in the sport, Stone was the first woman to be recognized for the award. Through her tenure at Harvard, Stone has coached six Patty Kazmaier Award winners, 24 All America selections, 13 Olympians and 11 NWHL/CWHL Draft picks.
