What to Know
  • Entering the weekend, Harvard women's hockey is just one victory away from the program's 700th win since gaining varsity status in 1978-79. It would be the fourth women's program to reach the mark and the first in ECAC Hockey.
  • The Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey, Katey Stone, is just three wins away from her 500th career victory. She would be the first female coach and the fourth of a women's program to reach the milestone. Just 24 coaches across all NCAA men's and women's programs have hit the milestone with a single team.
  • Harvard will look to reverse recent trends when it takes on Clarkson on Saturday. The Crimson have not beaten the Golden Knights since the 2013-14 season.
  • Senior Keely Moy has started the season fast, accumulating a team-high eight points through four games. Her 2.00 points per game average is tied for the second-highest mark in the country. Moy has also netted two shorthanded goals this year, tying her for the most in Division I.
 At the Helm:
Katey Stone, The Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey, is in her 27th year at the helm of the women's hockey program. Prior to the 2021-22 season, Stone compiled a 494-253-54 record. During Summer 2021, Stone was named the recipient of USA Hockey's Distinguished Achievement Award, recognizing a U.S. citizen who has made hockey his or her profession, and has made outstanding contributions, on or off the ice, to the sport in America. No stranger to trailblazing in the sport, Stone was the first woman to be recognized for the award. Through her tenure at Harvard, Stone has coached six Patty Kazmaier Award winners, 24 All America selections, 13 Olympians and 11 NWHL/CWHL Draft picks. Her teams have won 11 Beanpot championships, seven ECAC Tournament titles and have advanced to the NCAA Tournament 11 times.
