CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's swimming and diving is set to send a program-record 17 current and former student-athletes to U.S. and International Olympic qualifying events. The Crimson will be represented by 13 members at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming, running in two waves from June 4-20, 2021. Additionally, four student-athletes will compete at their respective country's events.
"We are excited to see the number of qualifiers amongst our group increase, both internationally and in the U.S." said
Kevin Tyrrell, the Ulen-Brooks Endowed Coach for Harvard Men's Swimming & Diving. "It is one of our goals as a program to get each student-athlete to the highest level, and these numbers show their hard work is paying off. We are looking forward to seeing how they perform over the next few months and getting them back to campus in the fall."
The most recent qualifier from the Crimson contingent is Quinn Harron, who swam his Olympic Trials cut this past weekend at the Atlanta Classic in Atlanta, Ga. Harron clocked 1:03.03 in the 100 breaststroke. Current and former student-athletes who have already achieved entry times for the Trials include: Dean Farris,

The Trials are scheduled in two waves, running Wave I from June 4-7, 2021 and Wave II from June 13-20, 2021 at the CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Neb.
At the international level,
Marcus Holmquist (Sweden), Raphael Marcoux (Canada), Anthony Rincon (Colombia) have recorded entry times for their respective national Olympic qualifying events.
Umitcan Gures has already punched his ticket to Tokyo with Turkey's national team.
The Tokyo 2020 Olympics are set to open on July 23, 2021 and run through August 8, 2021.
