Three From Track and Field/Cross Country Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Three members of Harvard's track and field and cross-country programs have earned 2020-21 Academic All-District honors as selected by CoSIDA. Graduating seniors Erick Duffy, Olivia Okoli, and Lisa Tertsch were all honored for Harvard.

Duffy, a team captain and standout pole vaulter, collected five top-five finishes in 2020, including a third place finish at Ivy League Heps (5.05m). He qualified for  the 2019 NCAA Championships, earning USTFCCCA Honorable Mention recognition, and was a two-time Second Team All-Ivy honoree.

Okoli was also a team captain and one of Harvard's top sprinters. A 2020 Winter Academic All-Ivy selection and 2021 NCAA Woman of the Year nominee, Okoli was excellent on the track as well. She is second all-time in Harvard history in the outdoor 200 meters (23.90) and a seven-time All-Ivy honoree.

Tertsch was one of the Crimson's top distance runners over her four year career, winning the 5000 meters (16:13.95) and 10,000 meters (35:05.32) at the 2019 Ivy League Outdoor Heps. Tertsch also set a school record in the 5000 meters (16:05.15) that year at the Penn Relays. In cross-country, Tertsch was a 2018 First Team All-Ivy honoree after placing third at Heps.
