What to Know
- Harvard will be gunning for its third straight win against a ranked opponent when the Crimson plays Clarkson on Friday. Harvard beat No. 8/9 Yale on Jan. 15 before taking out No. 4/4 Quinnipiac on Jan. 22. It's the first time the program has beaten two straight ranked opponents since March of 2015. The win vs. Quinnipiac is also the first for Harvard against a top-five team since Nov. 24, 2015 vs. No. 4/4 Northeastern.
- The Crimson appears at No. 6 in this week's USCHO women's hockey rankings, and No. 8 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll. The No. 6 ranking is the highest position for Harvard in either national poll since it was No. 5 in both on Oct. 19, 2015.
- Senior captain Becky Dutton has earned ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week honors in two consecutive weeks. The goaltender has conceded just four goals across her current five-game win streak, including back-to-back shutout performances against Dartmouth and Princeton.
- Junior Anne Bloomer leads Harvard with 13 goals on the season. Bloomer is averaging 0.68 goals per game, the fifth most in the country.
- Clarkson's Caitlin Lonergan is tied for the most points in ECAC Hockey with 36 on the season, while teammate Gabrielle David's 15 goals also match the conference lead.
- St. Lawrence goaltender Lucy Morgan has been stellar for the Saints. In 22 starts this season the junior has a .941 save percentage, the sixth highest mark in Division I.
- The Crimson and Golden Knights are knotted in the all-time series, 18-18-5. Clarkson defeated Harvard in a November overtime thriller, 4-3 earlier this season. The Crimson has not beaten the Golden Knights since Nov. 9, 2013 and has not won at Bright-Landry against the northern New Yorkers since Nov. 18, 2011.
- Harvard is 43-17-8 all-time against St. Lawrence including a 2-0 road victory this season. The Crimson has won four-straight against the Saints.
