CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University football returns to the road – where it has posted a 3-0 record this season – when it plays at Dartmouth College on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 1:30 p.m. (ESPN+/NESN+) at Memorial Field in Hanover, New Hampshire.
The Crimson (4-2, 2-1 Ivy) has won four of its first six games in 2022, including all three road contests, with victories over Merrimack (28-21, OT), Brown (35-28), Cornell (35-28), and Howard (41-25) alongside setbacks against then No. 11/10 Holy Cross (30-21) and then No. 23 Princeton (37-10). In Ivy play, the Big Green (2-4, 1-2 Ivy) topped Columbia (27-24) last week after dropping decisions to Penn (23-17, 2OT) and Yale (24-21). Harvard leads the all-time series with Dartmouth, 71-48-5.

- Senior running back Aidan Borguet has earned a spot on the Walter Payton Award Watch List – an honor that is presented annually by Stats Perform to the national offensive player of the year in college football's Division I FCS subdivision. Borguet ranks seventh in the NCAA in rushing yards per game (119.3).
- Junior defensive lineman Thor Griffith has gained recognition on the Buck Buchanan Award Watch List – an accolade that is to the national defensive player of the year in college football's Division I FCS subdivision. Griffith stands 22nd in the nation in tackles for loss per game (1.4).
- As a team in the NCAA FCS rankings, the Crimson ranks second in blocked kicks (six), second in blocked punts (four), first in tackles for loss allowed (2.83 per game), third in team sacks (3.67 per game), fifth in team tackles for loss (8.3 per game), 12th in red zone offense (.900), 11th in rushing defense (95.7 yards per game), and ninth in sacks allowed (1.00 per game).
- In the NCAA individual rankings, senior running back Aidan Borguet ranks seventh in rushing yards per game (119.3), 16th in all-purpose yards per game (128.5), 16th in rushing touchdowns (seven), 26th in total touchdowns (eight), and 28th in rushing yards per carry (6.02).
- Senior wide receiver Kym Wimberly sits sixth in receptions per game (7.5) and 23rd in receiving yards per game (88.0) while sophomore receiver Ledger Hatch ranks 13th in yards per reception (20.93).
- Senior defensive lineman Truman Jones stands 10th in the NCAA in tackles for loss per game (1.6), 24th in sacks per game (0.75), and seventh in blocked kicks (two).
- Senior running back Aidan Borguet has rushed for 716 yards (119.33 yards per game) and seven rushing touchdowns – alongside a receiving touchdown – on 119 carries this season. He has rushed for 80 or more yards in all six games and scored a touchdown in five of six games. Borguet leads the Ivy League in rushing attempts (119), rushing yards (716), rushing yards per game (119.3), and second in rushing touchdowns (seven).
- Senior wide receiver Kym Wimberly has made 45 receptions for 528 yards and three receiving touchdowns on the season. He paces the Ivy League in receptions per game (7.5) and ranks third in receiving yards per game (88.0).
- Senior quarterback Charlie Dean has completed 108-of-185 pass attempts (58.4 percent) this season for 1,336 yards and 11 touchdowns against just two interceptions. He has thrown for over 200 yards in four of six games this year and has averaged 222.67 passing yards per game. Dean ranks second in the Ivy League in passing TDs (11).
- The Harvard defensive line accounts for three of the top five spots in the Ivy League's tackles for loss leaders, including senior Truman Jones (1.58 per game, first), junior Thor Griffith (1.42, third), and senior Nate Leskovec (1.33, fifth)
- Senior defensive back James Herring earned Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Week after recording a blocked punt and eight tackles in the Crimson's 41-25 win at Howard (Oct. 15). He tallied his sixth career blocked kick. Against the Bison, the Crimson also blocked a field goal.
- Senior captain and defensive lineman Truman Jones has earned selection as a semifinalist for the 2022 William V. Campbell Trophy®, college football's premier scholar-athlete award. Jones stands as one of 37 nominees for the award from the Football Championship Subdivision.
- Senior quarterback Charlie Dean captured the NEFW Gold Helmet Award after leading the Crimson to a 35-28 win over Brown on Sept. 24. Dean completed 20-of-29 passes for career highs in passing yards (282) and passing touchdowns (four) with no interceptions in the victory.
- Following its victory over Brown on Sept. 24 – under Tim Murphy, The Thomas Stephenson Family Head Coach for Harvard Football, Harvard holds a 23-5 (.821) record in its Ivy League openers since 1994.
- Senior defensive lineman Nate Leskovec earned national recognition after posting a school-record 4.5 sacks and seven tackles in the Crimson's win over Merrimack, taking home FedEx Ground Stats Perform FCS National Defensive Player of the Week and NCAA FCS Player of the Week honors. Leskovec also garnered Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week.
- Senior running back Aidan Borguet gained both Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week and NEFW Gold Helmet weekly honors following his performance against Merrimack. Borguet accounted for 166 all-purpose yards (127 rushing, 39 receiving) and three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) to help propel the Crimson to the overtime victory.
- Junior defensive tackle Thor Griffith gained an honorable mention nod on the FedEx Ground Stats Perform FCS National Defensive Player of the Week list after he posted nine tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks in Harvard's win over Merrimack.
- Senior defensive back Max Jones gained a spot on the prestigious Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, which recognizes 22 college football student-athletes and an honorary head coach for outstanding contributions to their communities. Off the field, Jones started the Project Proximate fellowship program, which aims to help Black and Latinx college students acquire and develop the tools necessary to be change agents in closing the racial wealth gap.
