CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Harvard men's tennis team wrapped up play at the Crimson Halloween Invite with another successful day of competition.

In doubles Masato Perera and David Arkow recorded a win over their opponents, Laffont and Koong, from Brown.  The match was a nail biter that had to be decided in tiebreakers where Perera and Arkow pulled out the win 7-6 (6).

In singles the Crimson secured wins in four out of their five matches.  Valdemar Pape and Steven Sun both took down their opponents in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 and 7-5, 6-3, respectively.  David Lins and Perera were also able to bring home wins for Harvard.  Lins defeated Alex Koong (Brown), 3-6, 6-0, 10-8 and Perera bested Noah Hernandez (Brown) 6-2, 3-6, 10-8.

Next Up

The Crimson will wrap up their fall competition season next weekend with a pair of tournaments.  Harris Walker will be traveling to San Diego to compete in the ITA Fall Nationals after making the finals of the ITA Northeast Super Regionals.  Other members of the Crimson will head to Texas to compete at the SMU Invite November 4-6.
