CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Following the conclusion of the fall season, the ICSA College Sailing Rankings were released, and the Harvard open sailing team finished No. 1 and the Harvard women's sailing team landed No. 6 in the rankings.
The open team of Harvard sailing had a dominate season this fall, taking first place at the Open Atlantic Coast Championship Qualifier and the Open Atlantic Coast Championship. The two wins boosted the Crimson up to No. 1 in the standings after previously ranking No. 3 in early October. Along with both of these wins came NEISA Open Sailors of the Week honors. Following the Open ACC Qualifier,
Kennedy Leehealey,
Justin Callahan, and
Tyler Masuyama were named the sailors of the week for weekend five. The first-years Leehealey and Callahan continued their hot streak with earning sailors of the week for weekend seven following the Open Atlantic Coast Championship.
The women of Harvard sailing also had a strong performance this fall with first place finishes at the Women's ACC Qualifier and the Yale Women's Regatta. Following the Yale Women's Regatta finish,
Cordelia Burn and
