Box Score CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's hockey protected it's home ice during the final home game of the first half of the season, earning a 1-0 win over regional rival, New Hampshire. The Crimson (3-7-2, 2-4-2 ECAC) picked up its first nonconference win of the season with the victory, as the team ends the first half of the season winning back-to-back games on its home ice.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Harvard and UNH battled in the neutral zone for the first four minutes of action, as Gabi Davidson Adams became the first player to put a shot on goal 3:57 into the period.
- The Crimson would go on to outshoot the Wildcats, 14-8 in the first frame.
- Paige Lester got Harvard on the scoreboard in the second period, scoring the Crimson's third short-handed goal of the season. Lester threaded a shot between both the defender and goalie's legs to get her third goal of the season. Mia Biotti's pass breakup and dish to Lester earned her an assist on the strike.
- Alex Pellicci stepped up to make 15 saves throughout the second frame, keeping UNH off the scoreboard.
- Pellicci once again stepped up in a big way to make 11 saves in the final period and earn her third shutout of the season.
- After series of Wildcat penalties towards the end of regulation, time would expire giving the Crimson its third win of the season.

- Alex Pellicci made 34 saves to record her third shutout effort of the season
- Pellicci now has made 455 saves in 2022-23, the second most in the nation
- Harvard killed off all three Wildcat powerplays to bring its PK streak to five

- Kristin Della Rovere led the team with 21 wins on the dot
- Gabi Davidson Adams paced the Crimson with two blocked shots

The Crimson will travel to northern New York for its final games of 2022. Harvard will close out the first half of the season with an ECAC series against St. Lawrence and Clarkson on Dec. 2-3.
