CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The final weekend of the ECAC Hockey regular season has arrived and just two games remain as No. 7/7 Harvard (19-7-1, 14-5-1 ECAC Hockey) looks to solidify a top seed in the conference playoffs. The Crimson, who currently occupies the second position in ECAC Hockey standings, will hope to earn valuable points when the team makes a trip to eastern New York to square off against Rensselaer (9-21-0, 5-15-0 ECAC Hockey) and Union (4-27-1, 1-19-0 ECAC Hockey) this Friday and Saturday.
Harvard will begin the swing at 6 p.m. on Friday night against the Engineers prior to visiting the Dutchwomen on Saturday for a 3 p.m. tilt. Both games can be seen on ESPN+ and internationally on Stretch Internet.
The Crimson needs just 1.5 points to guarantee a home-series in the ECAC Hockey quarterfinals by virtue of a top-four finish in the conference. The regular season title is also in play, but will likely require two wins this weekend, coupled with a loss by Yale.
