Box Score CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's volleyball (3-6, 1-2 EIVA) bested St. Francis Brooklyn in four sets on Friday, Feb. 18, at the Malkin Athletic Center.
The Crimson posted at least 20 points in each set for the second consecutive match, but this time came out on the right side, for final score of 25-17, 21-25, 25-20 and 25-20.
Campbell Schoenfeld recorded his second consecutive double-double, with 12 kills and 12 digs to lead the Crimson to victory. Schoenfeld added an assist and a block.
James Bardin tied a season-high with 37 assists for the second consecutive match and the third time this season. Bardin brings his season assist total up to 227 through nine games, good enough for 8.94 assists per set. In addition, Bardin tallied nine digs, six kills, three blocks and a service ace on what was a career night for the first-year.
Eric Li came up just shy of a double-double with nine kills and eight digs, to go along with an assist, a service ace and a block.
Ethan Smith,
Ethan McCrary and
Kade McGovern all recorded six kills. Smith piled on with five blocks and two service aces, while McCrary had three blocks and McGovern chipped in three digs.
First-year
Azim Raheem stepped in for the Crimson in the fourth set and had a career-high three kills, a block and a dig.
Jason Shen put in another solid performance for the Crimson, racking up 11 digs and adding six assists.
Harvard Highlights
- Harvard held the Terriers to under .100 hitting in two sets, the first set (.074) and the fourth set (.036).
- The Crimson won the kill battle 48-39 over St. Francis Brooklyn.
- Schoenfeld recorded his third career double-double.
