CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After nearly two full years away from competition, Harvard women's lacrosse returns to Jordan Field on Sunday (Feb. 20) at noon) when it hosts Colorado on ESPN+. Harvard will host Holy Cross two days later on Tuesday (Feb. 22) at 5 p.m.

Olivia Gill and junior
Grace Hulslander will captain the Crimson in 2022. Gill finished 2020 second on the team with 10 caused turnovers in six games. Hulslander finished third on the team in scoring that same year with 12 goals and added a team best 31 draw controls.
Harvard and Colorado last met during the 2020 season in Boulder, with the Crimson and Buffaloes playing a competitive game down to the wire – Colorado prevailed, 9-7.
Harvard owns an 11-1 record in the all-time series against Holy Cross, with the two teams last playing on March 22, 2016 (Harvard won 13-3).

Devon Wills, The Carole Kleinfelder Head Coach for Harvard Women's Lacrosse, returns for her third season at Harvard. Wills arrived in Cambridge after a six-year coaching stint at USC, serving as associate head coach in her last three seasons, where she worked specifically with the Trojan defense and goaltenders. Under Wills' guidance the Crimson defense improved from allowing 12.06 goals per game in 2019 to 9 goals per game in 2020. Harvard also averaged 9.83 caused turnovers per game in 2020, up from 7.86 caused turnovers per contest in 2019. Wills was a three-time All-American goalie at Dartmouth, leading the NCAA in goals-against average and helped the Big Green advance to the NCAA championship game in 2006.

Annabel Child was selected as one of 20 women to represent Canada at the 2022 World Lacrosse Women's World Cup in Towson, Md. The World Cup, postponed from 2021, will take place from June 29-July 9, 2022 and will feature 30 teams. Child is no stranger to Team Canada, earning a spot on the Super Six squad at the World Lacrosse Six on Six event this past fall, and participating with the national team at the USA Lacrosse Fall Classic.
- Harvard announced the addition of
Sammy Jo Tracy to the coaching staff as an assistant this past fall. Tracy, a two-time national champion and All-American at UNC, most recently served as an assistant coach with Arizona State. A native of Bedford, New York, Tracy has played professional lacrosse since graduating from UNC, including three years with the WPLL Pride in the Women's Professional Lacrosse League. She played with Athletes Unlimited this past summer, finishing tied for 11th in the league with 17 goals scored.

One of the sport's all-time greatest players and former Ivy League standout
Devon Wills was named The Carole Kleinfelder Head Coach for Harvard Women's Lacrosse in August 2018. As a player, Wills was a four-time (2003-06) All-Ivy League performer with three selections to the first team. She was also a three-time IWLCA All-America second-team honoree (2004-06). As a team captain in 2006, she led the NCAA in goals-against average and helped the Big Green advance to the NCAA championship game. In 2003, she was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year and earned All-Ivy League second-team notice. She finished her career in second on Dartmouth's all-time saves list (538) and had a 7.14 career goals-against average. With Wills in the net, Dartmouth made appearances in the NCAA quarterfinals in 2003 and 2004, and advanced to the national semifinals in 2005. A native of Denver, Wills is a two-time recipient of the Women's Lacrosse Award from the Sportswomen of Colorado (2006 and 2009). Wills received a bachelor's degree in sociology from Dartmouth in 2006.
