Women’s Track & Field Captures Mile Crown At Wake Forest

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Competing in just one event, the women's track and field team captured a win at the JDL DMR Invitational. Competing down at host school Wake Forest, the two Harvard competitors finished 1-2 in the women's mile, with sophomore Maia Ramsden capturing the win with a time of 4:39.27, and senior Anna Juul finishing second with a time of 4:39.62. The Crimson runners beat out competitors from New Mexico, UMass Lowell, Washington and Missouri to claim the victory. 
 
 
Harvard Highlights
  • This is the first top place finish that the T&F team have captured since competing in the Scarlet & White meet back on Feb. 5, 2022. 
 
Up Next
The Crimson will travel down to New York City for the Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championships from Saturday, Feb. 26 - Sunday, Feb. 27.
