ECAC Hockey Names Harvard's Della Rovere Finalist for Conference’s Top Forward

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – Junior forward Kristin Della Rovere was one of three student-athletes announced today as finalists for ECAC Hockey's Best Forward award.

Della Rovere joins Cornell's Gillis Frechette and Yale's Elle Hartje as nominees.

Harvard's top-line center has enjoyed a productive offensive season, matching her career high with 37 points on 14 goals and 23 assists. She ranks second on the team in both points and assists and third in goals.

Della Rovere was named ECAC Hockey's Driscoll Skating & Skills Player of the Week back on Jan. 31 following a career-best, four-point effort in Harvard's 6-2 win vs. No. 10/10 Clarkson.

Earlier this season, the native of Caledon East, Ontario amassed a 12-game point streak, the longest by a Harvard player since Jillian Dempsey's 30-game streak across the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons.

Della Rovere currently sits at 99 points for her collegiate career in just 93 games played.
