CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – Harvard women's ice hockey first-year
Taze Thompson received recognition as a member of the ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team for the 2021-22 season, it was announced on Sunday. Thompson is one of six players, and three forwards, to be granted the honors.
The native of Alberta, Canada has contributed from the onset in Cambridge, finishing the regular season fifth on the team with 19 points and eight goals. She has also been excellent in at the faceoff dot for the Crimson, going 268-151 on the regular season in draws, a .640 win percentage.
Thompson's inaugural collegiate season has included four multipoint games, highlighted by a three-point effort against Minnesota Duluth back on Jan. 1.
The 19-year-old was the conference's Rookie of the Week for the week ending on Jan. 16
