CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University baseball begins an eight-game, 10-day trip to the state of the California with a four-game series against Cal Poly on ESPN+ with game one on Friday, Mar. 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET, a doubleheader on Saturday, Mar. 12 beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET, and game four on Sunday, Mar. 13 at 4:00 p.m. ET, coming off a 3-1 series win over Rice.

What to Know
- The Crimson (4-3) plays a four-game set against the Mustangs (5-7) at Baggett Stadium in San Luis Obispo, Calif., with Cal Poly in the midst of an eight-game home stand.
- Harvard's weekend rotation is set to include junior RHP Adam Stone (1-0, 2.00 ERA) in game one, junior LHP Tim Williamson (1-0, 2.00 ERA) in game two, senior RHP Jaren Zinn (1-1, 14.29 ERA) in game two, and TBA in game four. Cal Poly is scheduled to throw RHP Drew Thorpe (1-0, 3.26 ERA) in game one, LHP Travis Weston (0-0, 5.40 ERA) in game two, TBA in game three, and RHP Steven Brooks (0-0, 3.52 ERA) in game four.
- Harvard and Cal Poly will meet for the first time on Friday.
- The Crimson took three of four games from Rice in its second weekend of the season. Harvard won game one (3-0), game two (2-1), and game three (6-3) before falling in game four (9-6). For the series, sophomore Chris Snopek led the Crimson with a .500 batting average (6-for-12) while the Crimson's pitching staff posted a 3.19 ERA with 39 strikeouts over 31.0 innings.
- Harvard opened its 2022 season over the weekend of Feb. 25-27 after a 719-day wait, starting the year with an 11-6 victory over No. 24 Miami. The Crimson dropped a narrow 2-1 decision in game two before a 10-0 setback in game three. Junior Zach Brown, sophomore Chris Snopek, and first-year Sawer Feller all hit home runs in the series.
- Sophomore Chris Snopek leads the Crimson with a .391 batting average and .481 on-base percentage alongside five RBIs and six runs. He hit .500 with three RBIs, three runs, and a double in the Rice series. He totaled three hits, three runs scored, two RBIs, and his first career home run against Miami.
- First-year Sawyer Feller has posted a .348 batting average on the season and leads the team with six RBIs. He hit .417 with four RBIs in the Rice series. Feller tallied three hits, two runs, two RBIs, and his first collegiate home run in the Miami series.
- Junior Zach Brown tallied a team-high three RBIs in the Miami series. In game one, he went 3-for-5 with a double and a two-run home run that gave the Crimson a 7-6 lead in the seventh inning.
- First-year George Cooper hit his first two collegiate home runs in the Rice series. He launched lead-off home runs in both game three and game four.
- Junior Logan Bravo went 5-for-13 (.385) with two doubles and four runs scored in the Rice series.
- Sophomore Peter Messervy hit .333 (3-for-9) in the Miami series with two runs scored and a double.
- Junior right-handed pitcher Adam Stone has posted a 2.00 ERA with 12 strikeouts over 9.0 innings. Against Rice, he threw 5.0 shutout innings, striking out eight. He made his collegiate debut, against Miami, striking out four batters over 4.0 innings.
- Junior left-handed pitcher Tim Williamson has registered a 2.00 ERA with 10 strikeouts over 9.0 innings. In his start against Rice, he tossed 6.0 innings allowing one run on three hits with seven strikeouts.
- Among Harvard's relief pitchers, sophomores Uday Narottam, Jay Driver, and Chris Clark have all thrown 3.0 or more innings this season without allowing a run. Clark has posted six strikeouts over 4.1 innings, and Driver has notched five strikeouts over 3.0 innings.
- First-year right-handed pitcher Sean Matson has thrown 7.0 innings of relief, posting a 3.86 ERA and 11 strikeouts. He threw 4.0 innings of relief against Miami, permitting just one run on two hits with six strikeouts.
- Over the course of the Miami series, Harvard had 13 student-athletes make their collegiate debuts. Nine of the Crimson's 13 players to appear in game one appeared in a college game for the first time.
