Box Score CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's volleyball team (8-8, 6-2 EIVA) tallied its sixth consecutive EIVA win over Sacred Heart (6-11, 1-9 EIVA) in four sets tonight at the Malkin Athletic Center.
The Crimson had control for most of the evening, coming out on top to complete the weekend sweep of Sacred Heart 25-22, 23-25, 25-17 and 25-18.
Ethan Smith kept up his efficient year for Harvard, totaling a career-high 14 kills on a career-high .706 hitting percentage, while adding two blocks and a service ace.
Campbell Schoenfeld reached double-digit kills again with 14 on a .565 hitting percentage, to go along with four blocks, three digs and a service ace.
Eric Li had another strong showing, posting 13 kills (.408), eight digs, two blocks, two service aces and an assist.
Kade McGovern tallied 10 blocks, four assists, two digs and two service aces.
Jason Shen reached a season-high with 13 digs and added four assists, while
James Bardin recorded 39 assists, five digs, two blocks and a kill.
Ryan Hong posted four blocks and a kill for the Crimson.
Harvard Highlights
- Harvard won the kill battle 55-43.
- The Crimson came out on top in assists (48-40), digs (32-22) and blocks (8-5).
- Harvard tallied a .500 hitting percentage in the first set and a .526 hitting percentage in the fourth set.
- The Crimson has won six-straight EIVA contests after starting the season 0-2.
