RALEIGH, N.C. - Posting another set of impressive results on the second day of the Raleigh Relays on Friday, March 25, the Harvard men's and women's track teams broke two Harvard school records. Topping off a stellar day on the track, the Crimson set new marks of excellence in both the women's 5000m, as well as in the men's 10000m.Â

For the women, senior
Judy Pendergast put up a Harvard school record time of 15:58.54 in the 5000m, good enough for 10th place out of a field of 181. Also showing out for the Crimson, first-year
Maia Ramsden put up a time of 4:18.06 in the 1500m, the second fastest time in Harvard school history and fast enough to place 9th in the field of 202 runners.Â

On the men's side, sophomore
Acer Iverson broke the Harvard school record in the 10000m, finishing in sixth place with a time of 28:24.56. The school record was previously held by Olympian Kieran Tuntivate '20. Also putting up numbers for the Crimson, senior
David Melville posted a time of 29:13.44 in the 10000m, the third fastest time in Harvard school history.Â
