Men’s Squash’s Crouin Announced as Skillman Award Finalist

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard senior Victor Crouin has been named a Finalist for the 2022 Skillman Award, the College Squash Association announced this week. Crouin, who was crowned CSA Individual National Champion earlier this month for the second time in his collegiate career, is one of three Finalists for the honor, joining Penn's Aly Abou Eleinen and Princeton's Youssef Ibrahim.

The Skillman Award is given annually to a student-athlete who has demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship during his college career. This year's winner will be announced at the CSA's Virtual Awards Show, The Senior Serve, on April 19. The event will be live streamed on YouTube beginning at 7 p.m.

A native of Var, France, Crouin has enjoyed tremendous success during his time in Cambridge. Along with his two individual titles, Crouin also led Harvard to three team National Championships and earned First-Team All-American honors on two occasions.  He posted a 35-4 overall individual record over the course of his career, playing almost all his matches at the No. 1 position in the Crimson lineup.

Should he be selected as this year's honoree, Crouin would become the fifth Harvard student-athlete to earn the Skillman Award. Past recipients include Tim Wyant '00, Andrew Merrill '01, Colin West '10 and Ali Farag '14.
