PHILADELPHIA – Despite twice coming back from a game down, Harvard's
Hana Moataz finished on the short end of a 3-2 scoreline in the Ramsay Cup Final on Sunday a the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center.
The Crimson senior captain fought valiantly against Cornell's Sivasangari Subramaniam in the Individual National Championship match but, in the end, was forced to settle for second.
After leveling the score at 2-2, Moataz dropped the decisive fifth game, 11-7, but earned runner-up honors at the tournament for the second straight season. The Cairo, Egypt native also reached the final in 2019-20.
In the Holleran Cup's South Division, Crimson First-Year
Habiba Eldafrawy completed a 4-0 weekend with a sweep of Drexel's Noa Romero Blazquez in the final. Eldafrawy outscored her opponents 12-2 over her four matches in the B-draw.
