CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Tapping into familiar recruiting waters, Harvard sailing head coach
Michael O'Connor has announced the team's incoming class of three first-years. Twin brothers Justin and Mitchell Callahan accompany Kennedy Leehealey as the group of sailors who will be joining the Crimson beginning in the fall of 2022.
The newcomers hail from prolific sailing grounds with the Callahan brothers coming to Cambridge by way of Miami, and Leehealey from Newport Coast, Calif.

Justin Callahan | 5'10" | Miami, Fla. | Immaculata-La Salle High School
Four-year captain and co-founder of Varsity Sailing team at Immaculata-La Salle alongside twin brother… Led team to numerous district and national championships… Has sailed competitively at international events for more than 10 years including at world and continental championships… Team Race World Champion (2017)… Youth Team Race National Champion (2019, 2021)… Triple Crown Winner (2019)… First-place at U.S. Youth Sailing Championship (2020)… Winner of i420 North American Championship (2020)… National Honors Society member… Member of the U.S. Sailing Youth Advisory Board (2020-2022)… Brother Mitchell is also an incoming first-year for Harvard sailing… Father Paul played Varsity Basketball at Harvard prior to injury, graduating in 1985… Father was a two-time Paralympian, representing the U.S. in sailing at both the Sydney (2000) and London (2012) Games.
