Hale Nets Seven Goals as Water Polo Defeats Pacific in Overtime

SANTA CLARA, CA. – No.17 Harvard water polo defeated Pacific in overtime today via a score of 22-19. The Crimson offense was led by Owen Hale who scored a season-high seven goals including a goal with seven seconds left to end the game to overtime. Harvard has now won 12 games in a row after an undefeated trip to California. 
 
HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS
  • Owen Hale led the way with seven goals. 
  • Tyler Zarcu and Kaleb Archer both scored a pair of goals. 
  • First-years Jake Tsotadze and Jack Burghardt both added hat-tricks in the game. Tsotadze also had four assists. 
  • James Rozolis-Hill continued his scoring ways by adding another hat-trick. 
  • Gabe Putnam added two goals and four assists. 
  • Alex Bucur was dishing it as he tallied four assists as well. 
  • Tanner Furtak tallied 10 saves in the win. 
NEXT UP 
Following Harvard's weekend in California, the Crimson will head back home for the rest of the season. The team takes on LIU and Iona on Oct. 28 and Princeton on Oct. 29. The games will be streamed on ESPN+.
