Hannah Creighton Named Director of Fan Engagement

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Hannah Creighton has been named Harvard Athletics' Director of Fan Engagement. A Boston College graduate, Creighton arrives in Cambridge from Marathon Tours & Travel in Boston, following stints with Kraft Sports and Entertainment, and in Major League Baseball.
 
Creighton is responsible for leading all aspects of the marketing and gameday experience at Harvard Athletics events, while being the main driver for providing Crimson fans, students, and the greater community with an authentic, one-of-a-kind experience.
 
In her most recent role as an international trip designer with Marathon Tours & Travel, Creighton was responsible for the planning and marketing of several international trips to running events, including the Paris Marathon and TCS London Marathon, among others. As the point of contact, Creighton, a 14-time marathon runner herself, communicated all-encompassing details to participants, while providing on-site customer service.
 
Prior to her time planning worldwide marathon trips, Creighton worked for Major League Baseball's Milwaukee Brewers from Feb. 2021-Oct. 2022, as their entertainment and event production manager. During her time in the Cream City, Creighton organized and booked all pregame elements, wrote scripts and served as the lead stage manager on gameday. She additionally prepared special gameday elements, including theme nights and charity events, as well as non-game events (tailgates, spring training, community watch parties). Creighton also served as a Boston Red Sox intern in the summer of 2014, working in human resources.
 
Creighton began her career in sports with Kraft Sports and Entertainment in Foxborough in June 2015, as an operations coordinator, handling internal and Gillette Stadium event protocols, before taking on the role of special events coordinator in Oct. 2016. Creighton later transitioned to special events supervisor in March 2018, managing the New England Patriots (NFL) and Boston Uprising's (Overwatch League) fan engagement event promotion and event operation planning. In nearly three years, Creighton created marketing initiatives and enhancements for several athletic events, while planning large celebrations such as sendoff rallies, various parties (welcome, tailgate, postgame) and parades for the Patriots' consecutive appearances in Super Bowl LI, LII and LIII.
 
A Boston Sports Museum Young Leaders Council Member, Creighton earned her bachelor's degree from Boston College in economics with a minor in French.
