BOSTON, Mass. – Harvard women's hockey (7-16-3, 6-11-3 ECACH) is set to take on the Boston University Terriers (10-17-3, 9-13-3 HEA) in the 44th Women's Beanpot Tournament consolation round. The Crimson and the Terriers will meet on the ice at Conte Forum and on NESN+ tonight beginning at 4:00 PM.
- Harvard is 7-5-1 all-time in the consolation round of the Beanpot.
- The Crimson has an all-time record of 51-35-2 in the tournament. Boston University counters with a 17-57-6 record in the Beanpot.
- Harvard is 27-13-2 vs. the Terriers all-time including a 19-4-1 mark in the Beanpot.
- The Crimson own a 6-5-2 advantage in the series in the past ten seasons.
- The Crimson and Boston U. met in the opening round of the Beanpot a year ago in what ended in a 4-1 win for Harvard. Anne Bloomer had two goals in the contest with fellow classmate, Kristin Della Rovere also adding a goal in the win.
- Kristin Della Rovere leads the active Crimson student-athletes with seven points in her Beanpot career. Her five goals are also a team high.
- Anne Bloomer (5), Mia Biotti (3), Kyra Willoughby (2) and Shannon Hollands (1) also have made their way onto the scoresheet in their Beanpot careers.
- Harvard lost to Boston College in the opening round of this year's tournament by a score of 3-0.
- Ellie Bayard and Jenna MacDonald scored in the team's last contest against the No. 9 Clarkson Golden Knights. MacDonald's goal was the first of her career, but it was not enough to lift the Crimson to the win, as the team fell 4-2 in the contest.
