CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore defenseman Ian Moore was named ECAC Hockey Defender of the Week, the conference announced today (Feb. 27).
 
Moore had the game-winning goal in a 3-2 win at Clarkson on Saturday night (Feb. 25) and added an assist the night before in a 6-2 win over St. Lawrence. He had a plus-3 rating overall on the weekend.
 
Moore was one of the top defenders in ECAC Hockey this season, with 14 points (goal, 13 assists) in 22 league games, finishing third among all ECAC Hockey defensemen with a plus-16 rating.
 
He recorded a career high 18 points (goal, 17 assists) in 29 games played.
