CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Athletics is proud to announce that it will celebrate 150 years of Harvard Football throughout the upcoming 2023 campaign. Established in 1873, the program has produced some of the most iconic players and moments in college football history.

This year, Harvard Athletics will celebrate the program's milestone season at each of the Crimson's 2023 home games and release exclusive fan content throughout the year. To accompany the celebration, Harvard Athletics has unveiled a brand mark to commemorate 150 years of football at Harvard.

This season, the Crimson will play six games at Harvard Stadium for the first time since 2012, with the first contest coming on Sept. 16, when it faces 2022 Pioneer League champion St. Thomas. The Tommies finished the '22 campaign by winning their final 10 games en route to a 10-1 record (8-0 PL).

Harvard will close out the month of September with two games, beginning with a home date against Ivy League foe Brown on Sept. 23, before heading to nearby Worcester to face FCS playoff participant Holy Cross on Sept. 30. The Crimson's clash with the Crusaders will take place at Polar Park, home of the Worcester WooSox, the Class AAA team of the Boston Red Sox.

Harvard will briefly step back into Ivy League play when it welcomes Cornell to Cambridge on Oct. 7. Howard follows the Big Red on the schedule with the Bison returning to Harvard Stadium on Oct. 14, for the first time since 2019.

After playing its first five contests within Massachusetts state lines, the Crimson will close the season with three road games over the final five weeks, beginning with Princeton on Oct. 21.

Fall Fest returns on Oct. 28, when Dartmouth heads south to visit the Crimson. The Homecoming event features live pregame musical entertainment, food trucks and yard games in the Dillon Quad.

Harvard's schedule then takes the Crimson to New York City on Nov. 4, for a showdown with Columbia, before welcoming Penn to Cambridge for a Senior Day contest on Nov. 11. Harvard eventually closes the year with the 139
th playing of The Game against Yale in New Haven, Connecticut on Nov. 18. As a reminder, all football dates are subject to change.
